      • I have no idea about inspiration but I do have an imagination. The original idea was simply to remove the requirements of realism from the processing stage of a photo, and discover what was possible. I could then just let my imagination loose on all the controls available in any simple editing program. Basically, I just turned all the dials up to 11. In technical terms, there are well over 100 individual processes in several stages interacting with each other for each image, which gives the end result a rather unpredictable character that I rather enjoy. Being digital, it’s easy to repeat each stage with subtle variations and choose the most interesting result (to me anyway) for the next step.
